The pony camp is not just a riding holiday but a week packed with lots of different activities and experiences. We encourage children to learn all aspects of horse care as well as having discipline specific riding lessons throughout the week, fun hacks through the Hartwell fields, a fun team gymkhana and In hand showing. Within the riding children will get to ride at least two or three different ponies over the week and will get to handle lots of the different Hartwell Horses and Ponies. We feel this is important for them to get the most out of their week with us and to gain confidence both on the horses and on the ground. Children will also take part in two fun fitness and games sessions with our in-house Children’s Personal Training Instructor, these have proven to be great fun in the past.

For all meals and overnight Children will be at Foxglove Farm under the care of Natasha Hassell, NNEB-trained nurse with more than 20 years’ experience looking after children. While at Foxglove the children will take part in lots of fun activities including baking, helping look after the chickens, tractor rides, movie nights and much more. Children will stay in Natasha’s family home which is a beautiful thatched cottage in lovely, cosy rooms.
